Dear Members of the Dhoraji Community.
Dhoraji Youth Services Foundation ( DYSF) has been active to educate the students of the community since last 19 years. The efforts has really helped to turnaround the community with graduates from highly accredited educational institutions. While the awareness of eduction in the community has created an urge to get educated , there few amongst us to cannot fulfill their dream because of lack of financial resources.
DYSF operates an elaborate scholarship program for those brilliant students who are not so privileged so that they can also achieve what they aspire. Currently there are about 1100 students who are getting scholarships and are pursuing studies at primary, secondary , college, university and professional levels. For the academic year 2008-2009 our funds requirements are Rs. 30 million. We get much of these funds from our donors locally we would also like the members of the Dhoraji Community residing abroad to participate in this noble cause and sponsor students for the basic education ( Pre-primary to Grade 10th ). The total cost of education for such students is US$ 400 per student per year. Please fill in the attached form and send it back to me so that we can share this participation at the Fund Raising Dinner planned for October 25, 2008 at the Rangoonwala Community Center Dhoraji Colony Karachi, Pakistan.
