course is intended for designers, draughtsmen, engineers (of
all disciplines), architects and managers who wish to know more
about the use of Computer-Aided Design in industry, with particular
reference to the industry standard package, AutoCAD.
Course
Description:
On completion of the course you will have gained a comprehensive
understanding of the capabilities and use of AutoCAD. You
will gain practice in polyline editing, dimensioning, using
blocks and develop techniques for using coordinate systems,
plotting from layouts, creating text and dimension styles.
You
will gain practice in drawing construction techniques which
will lead to an increase in drawing production speed.
This
course is offered in two levels of 36 learning hours each.
